With just about every other phone maker climbing on the smartphone bandwagon, HTC has joined the ranks with its HTC 7 Mozart, which features the Windows operating system. With many of HTC’s current devices being larger than the iPhone, the new HTC 7 Mozart is beginning to gain some major attention. Nevertheless, HTC hasn’t forgotten about Windows Mobile and since Microsoft launched the new Windows Phone 7 operating system, HTC promptly made a statement that it wants to support both the Android and Windows systems. Along with the top features that come with its new phone, this unit also boasts on their 3.7 inch touch screen.

Benefits

Because the HTC 7 Mozart smart phone is now using the latest operating system by Windows, this phone is rapidly becoming very popular, and the platform itself is excited about the ever growing creation of apps. Microsoft also enforced strict but fair hardware requirements displaying proof that the HTC 7 Mozart has some serious horsepower. The latest HTC smart phone runs on the 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU with 576 MB of RAM. Microsoft has two planned updates, the first will up the performance and the second will add multitasking, this is where you will actually see the power of the HTC 7 Mozart smart phone. To distinguish it from the other Windows Phone 7 siblings, HTC brought in some special software like the HTC Hub app which serves as the portal for other neat applications like the Photo Enhancer and Sound Enhancer for adding effects to those types of files.

HTC has clearly focused more on the design than earlier HTC phones. Whatever angle you are looking at this phone, you will see that it is chic and sleek. Furthermore, you don’t need to be worried that that the improvements will put too much of a draw on the battery because the batteries life is still 6 to 8 hours of use, which is the industry average. Other nice features include 8 GB of built-in storage which is nice for keeping any 720p videos that you can record using the phone. Also, the audio quality is great compliment of the SRS and Dolby Mobile sound enhancements. It integrates with Facebook rather well and it includes an Office document editor which is usually missing in a lot of smartphones.

Disadvantages

The quality of the camera of this smart phone from HTC isn’t really the best in comparison to other phones with the huge 8-megapixel sensor but the Xenon flash and geotagging features pretty much make up for it. In addition, it is not possible to expand on the 8 GB of storage although it should be sufficient especially if you won’t be recording video. One other drawback is that this phone has not attained its full potential yet since the Windows platform is still being updated.

Conclusion

The fact that updates will be put out for this phone means that your phone will continue to get better as time passes instead of becoming obsolete. Because Windows is a well-respected name in operating systems and the HTC 7 Mozart smart phone is taking advantage of this operating  system,  you  know  you  will  be  getting a superior smartphone.
