Taxi Tyres

This is the moment a London youth slashes the tyres of a taxi he was riding in after the driver refused to take him any further.

The pair argue about the reasons for the driver stopping, with the one doing the filming insisting he was only trying to tell the driver a quicker route.

After being asked to leave the taxi, the thug flashes a lock-knife in front of the camera, out of view from the driver before plunging it into the cab's rear tyre

The footage appears to have originally been published by the unknown assailant on Snapchat with the proud caption 'u lot thought I was the mad man' and a strew of laughing face and knife emojis.

The appalling incident is believed to have been filmed recently in London and comes as knife crime continues to blight the capital nearly every day.

The viral clip has been shared across social media since last night the 1st of September and has amassed over 200,000 views in a few hours.

The driver and his passenger argue back and forth over what the best route to take is and then why the passenger must leave the car

Enraged by the ejection from the car the youth pulls a knife and quickly pierces the rear passenger-side tyre

The video begins with the filming passenger in an argument with the taxi driver over what is the correct route to his destination.

The cabbie tells him: 'I don't want you in my car. I finish this job. Done.'

But the youth orders that he drop him to his requested location: 'You're dropping me off'.

The driver however calmly argues: 'You can't push me to do anything.'

The passenger retorts: 'I'm not pushing you to do nothing. I just want you to drop me to my destination.'

But the driver responds: 'You are very rude.'

And the youth shouts back 'How am I rude? You're rude! I'm trying to tell you a shorter way!'

The driver halts his car and tells the passenger: 'I'm finished. Please get out of my car'.

Lock knives are illegal to possess unless you can provide a suitable reason as for why you need to carry it, such as needing one for work

The thug argues 'You're making me pay for this? Are you crazy!'

But the cabbie puts an end to the argument: 'I am finished. That is it'

The passenger shouts at him: 'Are you done?' and the driver answers that 'I am done. Get out.'

The yob exits the taxi. But as he leaves the vehicle, he suddenly pulls out a knife that he has been carrying with him in the cab and firmly stabs the taxi's tyre with it.

The air is heard hissing out of the tyre as it escapes. The youth calmly walks away from the vehicle and as he does, he is heard smugly yelling back: 'P****hole!' at the driver.
