On June 23, Heilongjiang completed its first green power delivery to Tianjin, with a total transaction volume of 4.51 million kilowatt-hours. This marks the province’s inaugural green electricity export to Tianjin and further broadens the channels for renewable energy consumption.
The transaction was scheduled during off-peak hours and leveraged Heilongjiang’s rich renewable energy resources. Facilitated by an interprovincial trading mechanism, it enabled the targeted delivery of green power to Tianjin, helping to ease pressure on Heilongjiang’s power grid and improve renewable energy utilization.
Since the start of the year, Heilongjiang has been routinely conducting off-peak green power trading. To date, it has completed 20 transactions totaling 730 million kilowatt-hours. Renewable energy exports from Heilongjiang have grown rapidly in recent years. So far in 2025, outbound green power transactions have reached 9.986 billion kilowatt-hours, with electricity delivered to 16 provincial-level regions across North, East, and Northwest China.
