Clear Glass Reed Diffuser

Reed diffusers are a safe, reliable, and visually appealing option for residential and commercial spaces. Best used in areas where the aroma of our natural essential oils can drift around the room, like homes, office spaces, classrooms, and bathrooms.

If you are tired or leery of using overpowering chemical air fresheners, plastic-packaged solid chemicals or aerosols, then reed diffusers might be your new fresh air approach. The best part is they are 100% flame free and release your fragrance of choice naturally from bottom to top. Soy candles are also a great option, but often times can't use an open flame with children or an unattended room.

What is a reed diffuser?

In short, reed diffusers consist of naturally scented oils in a glass jar with a narrow opening. Small reeds or sticks are then placed inside. These are generally bamboo reeds or rattan.

How to use a reed diffuser

The setup is easy. All you need to do is take your essential oil of choice (we offer 6 different fragrances), pour it into the glass vessel, and place the reeds

inside. Once you’re finished setting it up, you can find the perfect spot to keep it, away from small hands and pets to avoid knocking it over.

How Do Reed Diffusers Work?

These reeds wick oil in the bottle from the bottom, up through the length of the reed, diffusing the oil and therefore the scent over a greater area. As the oil fragrances slowly evaporate they circulate their scent into the air. You’ll smell the immediate results of the scented liquid traveling its way up the reeds into your space of choice.

How to make a reed  diffuser smell stronger

If you want a stronger scent, simply add more reeds to your glass vessel. We recommend adding 1-2 more reeds to get optimum results. You can also flip the reeds occasionally to evaporate the oil at a faster rate. Just make sure to do it or a sink or trash can to avoid any oil drips and wipe the bottle clean after.

How Long Do Reed Diffusers Last?

Usually, you have around 1 month before your reed diffuser will need to be refilled or replaced. Washing the glass container in between switching scents is especially important. This removes smudge marks and dust particles that might have collected on the jar.

You will also know how often to replace your reed  diffuser sticks based on how productive the essential oil is at spreading its scent. Keep in mind that placing additional reeds into your jar might not last as long, so you’ll need to purchase refill oil and replace the used diffuser sticks.

Are Reed Diffusers Safe?

Yes but make sure you buy natural oils like ours and steer clear of harsh solvents. We use pure natural oils with intense and beautiful fragrances and we don't dilute with water like some cheaper options. It is important if using on a granite or marble counter top, you will want to use a coaster or ceramic plate.
