Description:

Polyurethane Foam is the original foam that subsequent foam types introduced to the market are based on. Charcoal, Dry Fast, High Density, High Resilience, Lux, Memory, and Rebond foam are all open-cell Polyurethane foams. What differentiates these foams are their density. When foam is within a density range, it gets one of these designations.

This page is specifically for Commerical Grade Polyurethane foam. At a density of 1.2 lb. per cubic ft. it is best used for packaging and shipping, mattress toppers, dog beds, costumes, arts and crafts, and other recreational applications. Thick pieces will develop “sink” areas after a short time and will often not return to their original form over time.
