Prism Vision Group Continues Mid-Atlantic Expansion With Acquisition of Central Maryland Eye Associates

The organization includes 80 locations, 150 providers and more than 1,100 employees throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J.— Prism Vision Group , one of the larger vertically integrated eyecare service organizations on the East Coast, said this week that it has acquired Central Maryland Eye Associates (CMEA), a full-service, family-focused eye and vision practice in Maryland. The four-physician practice, with locations in Frederick and Rockville, Md., have over 40 years of combined experience in providing a wide range of services, including routine eyecare, laser vision correction, cataract surgery, retina care and glaucoma, according to the Prism announcement.The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
