Pre-painted Steel

The method of powder coating involves a coating that is applied as a free-flowing powder. This is applied electrostatically and then dried with heat. This creates a tough outer layer which makes the fabricated metal more durable that other paint finishes. The main difference between this and painting is that powder coating doesn’t need a solvent in order to stick to the metal. Powder coating also provides a protective layer to fabricated products to protect against corrosion as well as scratches and chips.
