It’s not long ago that we saw life-size Chevrolet Silverado making headlines which was made entirely with Lego bricks. But that was not the last time Danish toymaker had endeavored into such a thing as they have now ventured with McLaren, the top British sports-car maker, to introduce a similar model of Senna hypercar.

Senna has been fantastic news for Lego fans around the world. What turns out to be the most ambitious and realistic McLaren that LEGO has ever made, this new McLaren Senna has used LEGO elements worth one metric ton. Even though you may not be able to take a drive, you can still get aboard and enjoy the simulation as it hits 208 mph and the vehicle roars into life. You will even be able to operate and enjoy the infotainment system and the working lights on this McLaren’s LEGO.

Is It a Complete LEGO Construction?

There have been secret shifts of the specialist assemblers who worked round the clock to create this full-scale LEGO McLaren. It took almost 5000 hours for this masterpiece to be assembled and it features around half a million distinct components. The latest automotive to have been treated with the LEGO, this supercar is made with 467853 blocks weighing somewhere around 3748 pounds which is significantly more than the actual Senna.

This new Senna comes with complete interior as well as opening doors. One interesting fact is that the Senna uses some interior elements that come all the way from the actual road Senna. Yes, its steering wheel, driver seat, and the pedals are from the actual model while the rest of the interior is made with Lego. In fact, it’s the first time that a LEGO McLaren has incorporated real interior parts in the bit to underline its authenticity. It comes fitted with the original McLaren badges while the Pirelli tires and the wheels are also the same as you would find in the real McLaren Senna. The LEGO McLaren also features removable dihedral doors allowing people to access its cabin easily.

The outside of this new Senna looks great as it combines orange and Victory Gray blocks. The beautiful color combination has been derived from the model Senna which featured in the LEGO’s Speed Champions kits line. The supercar replica also features functional headlights while its tires and the wheels directly come from its production car. However, the calipers and brake discs are made with the Lego bricks.

When The Display Is Staged for The New McLaren’s LEGO?

The car manufacturer plans to display its Lego Senna supercar at all the events scheduled around the world throughout this year. However, there is just one confirmation from the company for a showing as of now and that will be in July this year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

When this showing will be staged, the LEGO and McLaren fans – regardless of their age – will have the privilege to get a close look at their favorite LEGO McLaren. This will, in fact, be the very first McLaren of its kid that fans would be able to experience from inside throughout this year.

Furthermore, it’s been announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo as well where the LEGO fans are going to have this unique opportunity to actually live out the McLaren fantasy with latest downloadable content. Included in Forza Horizon 4 LEGO Speed Champions expansion, the gaming enthusiasts will be able to fully enjoy this LEGO McLaren Senna as they’d be exploring a whole new LEGO world completing in-game challenges and races.

In Forza Horizon 4, the players will be exploring one of UK’s dazzling microcosm with dynamic weather, changing seasons, and the finest roads you could ever imagine. All the action will be in HDR and 4K. It was announced at the E3 last year and features McLaren Senna in the form of its cover car which you could also play in the game. However, it would be a non-brick version of the car.

Forza Horizon 4 LEGO Speed Champions was launched all over the world this June 13 on Windows 10 PCs, Xbox One, and the Xbox Game Pass. So, if you’re a fan of this new McLaren’s LEGO Senna and have always loved playing Forza Horizon 4, you should definitely get your hands at it to get the best of both worlds.

Is it going to be the last McLaren LEGO collaboration that we could see? You never know as the partnership between Danish toymaker and the popular car manufacturer may continue in the future to pamper fans with a range of similar surprises. For now, however, this McLaren LEGO Senna is the latest for LEGO lovers and they must interact with it at different showings throughout the year.
