That depends on the yarn count. The higher the yarn count, the softer the fabric. Fabric with a high denier(unit of yarn count according to length) requires the raw material to be better. Otherwise, the yarn will break when knitting. Usually, the yarn count of T-shirt fabric is from 21-46S(unit according to weight). The yarn count determines the fabric density.
